In order to provide patients with a high level of specialist assistance, patients are consulted by doctors – general practitioners (family doctors), urologist, gynaecologist, infectologist and others. The possibility of carrying out necessary urgent diagnostic tests not only is convenient for the patient, but also ensures prompt and correct diagnosis and quality of the administered treatment.

Patients are accepted in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Taurage, Siauliai, and Panevezys.

Booking in advance is necessary for doctors’ consultations.

 

 

 

Expanding the range of services, in 2008 UAB Endemik started to provide another service for companies, institutions and organizations – mandatory periodic preventive health checks of employees.

Checks are carried out in two stages: during the first check, general practitioner (GP) of UAB Endemik evaluates the overall health condition of each employee in accordance with competence and powers conferred on him by the law: he interviews a patient, collects medical history, measures blood pressure, evaluates auditory, visual parameters, mental and nervous systems function and possible changes in the lining of the throat. At this stage, general practicing nurse takes blood sample to make an overall and / or biochemical blood tests for those employees to whom it was not made during the last twelve months (in accordance with Order No. 301 of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania of 31 May 2000). The electrocardiogram is recorded where appropriate. A medical records (form 025/a) is opened for every employed individual, and records are made in it. During the second stage, the performed blood tests are interpreted, corresponding records and made in Personal health books and medical records. During this stage, the family doctor informs of specialist consultations or additional tests (e.g., X-rays) that may be necessary for the employee. At the end of preventive health check of employees, if necessary, the probable is prepared with representative findings. We would like to emphasise that we guarantee the quality of our tests (UAB Endemik laboratory is not only licensed but also certified by the Ministry Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, and the external quality control of tests is carried out in Finland, in the LabQuality Systems Laboratory).
